Categories of data and purposes of processing
Inquiries submitted through the form
The inquiry form collects the name, a contact detail (telephone number or e-mail address), the subject of the inquiry and the content of the message, together with the page from which the inquiry was submitted. These data are processed solely for the purpose of answering the inquiry and preparing a quotation.
The legal basis for the processing is the data subject's consent, given by ticking the designated box before submitting the inquiry, and the taking of steps at the request of the data subject prior to the possible conclusion of a contract (points (a) and (b) of Article 6(1) of the Regulation). The name and contact detail are mandatory; without them the inquiry cannot be answered. The remaining fields are completed voluntarily.
Direct communication
Data provided by telephone or e-mail are processed for the purpose of answering the inquiry received.
IP address and technical logs
The server hosting the website automatically keeps technical access logs (IP address, time of access and the page requested). The IP address is processed temporarily, for protection against abuse and for the security and proper operation of the website; it is not linked to the inquiry sent, nor is it stored permanently. The legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of the controller (point (f) of Article 6(1) of the Regulation).
Manner of processing inquiries
The data entered in the form are delivered by e-mail to BENT's business address. They are not stored in any database of the website, nor are they published anywhere. The reply is sent to the contact stated in the inquiry.
Recipients of data
Two processors take part in the processing: Resend (e-mail delivery service) and Vercel (hosting infrastructure service). Both processors may process data in the United States of America, on the basis of the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or other safeguards provided for by the General Data Protection Regulation.
Personal data are neither sold nor made available to third parties for promotional purposes.
Retention period
The inquiry and the related correspondence are kept in the business e-mail for as long as the communication concerning the inquiry lasts. Where no business is concluded, the data are erased no later than one year after the last communication. Documentation of concluded business is kept for the periods prescribed by accounting and tax regulations.
Cookies and local storage
The website uses no cookies, no traffic analytics and no visitor tracking tools. Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel and similar tools are not used.
The only value stored is the choice of the light or dark appearance of the website, kept in the local storage of the data subject's browser. That value is necessary for the operation of the website, requires no consent, remains on the data subject's device and is not transmitted to the controller or to any third party.
Rights of the data subject
The data subject has the right of access to their personal data, the right to rectification and erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to object to the processing. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal. Requests are to be submitted to info@bentbazeni.hr.
The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb (azop.hr).
Final provisions
The policy is amended whenever the manner in which the website processes personal data changes. The version in force is published on this page, with an indication of the date from which it applies.
