Ceramic pool beside an illuminated house in the evening

Ceramic pools

Outstanding service, unquestionable quality and flawless maintenance.

About ceramic pools

Ceramic pools are pools built in one piece and very similar to fiberglass pools; in fact they are a technological step up and a step forward compared with classic fiberglass pools. These are the highest-quality, strongest and finest-looking pools on the market thanks to the 3D finish of the pool shell.

Installing a ceramic pool does not require a reinforced concrete floor slab. The inner lining of the pool shell is made of sprayed ceramic with a 3D finish. You can also choose between 12 ceramic colors, at no extra cost. Our ceramic pools come in lengths from 5 to 13 meters, and every pool comes with a 40-year warranty.

Note: all ceramic pools are skimmer-type pools.

Seven-layer construction

The outstanding quality of “ceramic” pools comes from their layered construction — 7 layers of different but compatible materials. Their technical properties deliver a perfect look that lasts for years, with a 3D effect from a two-layer Crystalite™ colored top gel, and resistance to aggressive chemicals and weathering. The layering and the increased overall wall cross-section also give the structure and the material itself exceptional strength.

Transport and installation

Like fiberglass pools, “ceramic” pools are most often transported in one piece to the prepared installation site (the excavation) on a specially adapted vehicle. They are then lowered into the excavation by crane.

Once the pool has been lowered into the prepared excavation, the pool equipment and plumbing are installed. After all the equipment and plumbing around the pool are in place, the pool is backfilled with dry-mix concrete.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a ceramic and a fiberglass pool?

Both are shells built in one piece. A ceramic pool has seven-layer construction and a ceramic 3D finish, and is a technological step up from the fiberglass pool, which has four-layer construction with a gelcoat.

Is a reinforced concrete slab needed?

No. Installing a ceramic pool does not require a reinforced concrete slab.

How does the pool reach the plot?

In one piece, on an adapted vehicle, and it is lowered into the excavation by crane. We check site access before ordering.

Can a ceramic pool be an overflow pool?

No. All ceramic pools are skimmer-type. For an overflow edge, consider the concrete or stainless steel types.
